Welcome to Part 2: Silicon anode coating, in our three-part series on how we make and test our Lithium-ion batteries here at AnteoTech.
In this video, we create the anode by coating a copper current collector sheet with a thin layer of slurry. Once this is dry, we punch out the anode. It is then weighed to verify loading before being heated in a vacuum oven to remove any residual moisture. The anode is then ready for assembly.
